LUISA by A Arturo Alvarez

The Ura 3-Light Pendant Light is a design by Arturo Alvarez illustrating the feeling of lightness through a composition of organic forms. Each shade is constructed of a painted steel mesh. The trio of shades shares a flaring motif that highlights the radiating contours created by a myriad of tender folds. The juxtaposition in the scale of the shades gives them a mobile sculpture quality as they suspend with fine wiring. The piece’s airy nature comes through as ambient light breezes through the textured perforations and beams down a metal ring.
